El moderno and La sombrilla ("bars" @ Hato Rey Pineiro Ave)
Calle San Sebastian (@ Old San Juan, various bars from "vintage", trendy, bohemian,... you will find something going on every day of the week)
Coaches (@ Roosevelt Ave)
Dunbars (@ Ocean Park, upper 20's to high 30's crowd)
Weekend hangouts:
Brava (@ El San Juan Hotel Isla Verde, high end dance club)
Wet & Liquid (@ Water Club Hotel Isla Verde, high end club)
La Placita (@ Santurce, very laid back, casual, Fridays, bars)
Shannann's Irish Pub(@ Guaynabo, sportsbar good for any day of the week)
Where to hang out and have a beer in PR is not hard to find. Regarding the techno/trance music, I know there are a few places in Old San Juan.

You have to go to Senor Frog's in Old San Juan, they have the best drinks and they arent ridiculously priced. They also have some specials. The music is great and the crowd is usually "face control". |
