Traveling alone to JA in one week. How much money should I bring considering I love to party and very outgoing in general. I also will be staying with family and do not intend to rent a car. I will be spending 3 weeks. |

well im from jamaica and to tell u the truth locals spend less then tourist because when ur tourist ur price is different seeing that u wil be staying with someone and no renting of vechile jsut fun in the sun well i wud say why not bring like $1200-1500US if u are willing to have a really good time. if u go to a hotel it wil be much more expensive. that wud be jus shopping and fun money 1500us is equivalent to $111,000US, yup thats lots of spending. but it normally depend on where u go and wat u do. |

hey im going to jamaica for three weeks as well with my sisters ( i have a house there in montego bay) we are planning on climbing the blue mountain and party at quad (the club), then we are going to ocho rios- dunns river falls, then we are planning on staying at a villa in negril and go to the beach and party, again then back to montego bay- my home. so i am planning on bringing 600$ US.($80.20=1) which is the equivalent of $48,000 JD this is alot of money to last me for three weeks as well, i always bring that amount whenever i travel to jamaica and a little left over to bring back home. things are NOT THAT expensive in jamaica. you can go somewhere and have fun spending little or no money (hanging out at the beach listening music).

bring what you're comfortable with. it's not that expensive in jamaica dependeing on where you are exactly. jamaica's quite overrated IMO |
