Melia Hotel in Cayo Coco is an adult only hotel, its all inclusive too, though Â£800 will only get you one week there sadly, you are totally safe in Cuba, its the safest place I have ever been to in my life, I had no problem walking back to our accommodation on my own and that is something I most certainly wouldn't do anywhere else, Cayo Coco is the most beautiful paradise place in the Caribbean, not much to do except sunbath and enjoy the water-sports, if you want restaurants and nightlife then I would suggest you went to Varedero, fantastic for both, but do remember that Cuba has no fast food restaurants like McDonald's or Kentucky friend chicken, no fish and chips places or curry huts either, they just do good honest home cooked food that is fresh and good for you, the Cubans are the most wonderful people I have ever met in my life, they will do anything and everything to make your holiday much better for you, for more adult only hotels check out www.firstchoice.co.uk they have tons of hotels and packages in Cuba so hopefully you should be able to choose from them, have a brilliant time if you do decide on Cuba, I can't wait to go back again next Easter.

I went to the Melia Cayo Coco in Feb. and Playa Coco in April - ask the entertainment teams if you visit about the Bat cave - they do a disco til 2pm - they will ferry you from the hotel and back for a small charge which includes entry to disco (beware the toilets are VERY basic) - there is a disco right next door to the Melia (Sol) which you can use check with the reception.
I am saving to go back next year - enjoy

Cuba is very safe. Most of the AI's are a bit of a distance from major cities or towns so you would be dining at your resort most of time. I personally like Sol Rio Luna y Mares near Guardelevaca, a wonderful beach, good staff just about perfect to me. You fly into Holguin, not many kids, it's more for adults, with lots of Brits going there. Varadero resorts seem to attract a younger crowd. You might check these websites for more info. enjoy, Cubans are wonderful, proud of their country and very hospitable. If you go once you'll probably go back.

HI i have been to guardalavac & varadero ,both all-inclusive and never seen many kids in any of the hotels ,It is a very safe place at night but it gets very dark
There are not many resturants so its best to go all-inclusive

Why even go there when there are sooooo many beautiful Carribean Islands to visit, with excellent resorts.
