I stayed at the Playa Dorada complex last summer and the hotel offered to pick me up at the airport. They were charging us $75US, but we were a large group (11 of all together).
Since I was already there visiting family first, I didn't take the ride from the hotel, but they should be able to help you if you call them, either by providing the transportation, or giving you the number of a realiable company and driver. |

Taxi costs 30 US Dollars and depending on how many in your party it can actually cost you less than a bus:)
4 people is about 7 1/2 bux a head and even if it is a little more it is worth it for speed and convienence of not having to stop at every hotel in Playa Dorada!
If you are cheap get the transfers!:) |

The holiday company your going with might be able to book a taxi transfer to your hotel. Dont take one from the Airport direct, as there taxi drivers will charge you double the price!!! I went in Jan this year, and we got talking to people and they said roughly £50 for the journey, they never relise till they worked out how to use the dollars. Have a nice time. |

As soon as you clear customs and walk out the door you'll find all kinds of taxis, There is a posted rate but it doesn't hurt to try for cheaper. If you are on an AI package transfers should all have been arranged and included in your price. |
