Jamaica is usually in the 80's anytime of year! I am going in the middle of October! If it rains,it will not last long! you will have rain followed by a burst of sunshine. This is to Bob,you seem to have some issues with Jamaica! What happened? Can you tell me? And if you dislike Jamaica so much, why do you keep on answering questions on this site????????????

I've been there several times, and it is the same every time in the summer.

Great weather. 80F - 85F in the day time. 74F - 79F during the night. It will rain many days between 3pm and 5pm (just like Florida). You will get surprise rainfalls during the night or very early morning. The temperature may drop one degree when it rains. One hurricane usually hits Jamaica every year, sometimes two. Keep that in mind.

Oh, also, FYI--since Jamaica is relatively closer to the equator, there is little variation in when the sun rises and falls (dawn and dusk). Expect the sun to rise and fall around 6-7:30am/pm everyday, depending on season. Also there is very little variation between the temperatures during winter and summer. The temp varies by about two degrees, sometimes three. Summer is the cheapest time to travel to Jamaica.

It is a wonderful place - I'm going again for the 4th time in Nov. The weather is always around 80-90. Where in Jamaica are you going - I usually go to Montego Bay. The people are absolutely the most laid back friendly bunch you will want to meet. Be open to new experiences and don't be afraid to ask them anything.

It should be bright and sunny by then, but remember that this side of the world has hurricane season until the end of october. Hurricanes can develop at any time. Just come and enjoy yourself. If one develops, the hotel will take all the precautions..all you will be required to do is to stay indoors and enjoy yourself indoors instead of outdoors!

Just come and have a good time.
