I agree with Christine.. Bring shorts and tanks for during the day and sun dresses or capris for the evening. Of course, plenty of bathing suits too. And make sure they are cotton or cotton blends.. it's hot and humid so polyester would be too hot and nasty. Lots of cotton tops.. plenty of undies..

I'm assuming you're staying at atlantis.. so bring lots of money as well Everything is crazy expensive..
Bring along some granola bars and snacks.. as they are expensive and hard to find.. and the pools and slides make you hungry.

You'll also need good walking shoes (since the hotel sits on more than 50 acres of land and you walk walk walk)..
Plus bring plenty of sunscreen and lotions.

You hair WILL misbehave in the humidity, so bring along scrunchies, clips and bands to keep it in place.

**** Don't forget your passport. and a notarized permission slip from you parents for your friend parent to take you out of the country... and treat you in the hospital in case of an emergency. The airlines.. and bahamian immigration will need this. *****

You may have a few rain showers.. but this is the rainy season and they are over quickly.

wear shorts and tanks because it's hot, but for when you go out at night, take a nice flowing summery skirt, a cami, and a nice light print shirt you can put over it. Pretty sandals would work fine. And flip flops for the beach. Bring a hoodie or jacket that you can tie around your waist and put on when in case it gets chilly at night and a sun dress for going out during the day.

Wow that's weird me and my aunt are going to the Bahamas in the summer, and it's my first time out of the country, my parents arn't going and im 14!!!! weird. Well in that case i could give you some suggestions:) bring a pair of cacky shorts or pants whatever you prefer, a white t-shirt or tank top. Those are basic then add some color with the top. When your satisfied add a neclace or something:)

OOOH lucky you. The weather should be warm but you can get rain this time of year. Take your swim wear ask your friend what she is taking
