I have done extenisve research on Aruba. I am gong there for my honeymoon and tried to check out of everything before making it our choice and then picking a hotel.

First and foremost, it does not rain!!! This was a huge in my decision. I want to enjoy our time there and not be inside because outside s down pours.

Also, there are casinos, shopping, a friendly "outside the resort" attitude. The island is small (17 miles) and it can be driven. There are site and history as well as sporty things to do.

When it came down to picking a resort, we chose the Divi All Inclusive. This is the BEST all inclusive package on the island. You get everything th Divi offers and everything their sister resort - the Tamarajan - has to offer. The pool is not as pretty as the mega resorts but the beach is supposed to be one of the prettiest on the island.

As far as nightlife, I have found out that most of the island closes at 1:00 am. Now I am from NY and have gone to clubs after that time so I am spoiled. I am sure there are things to do back at the room though ;) .

Check out trip advisor and get information FROM PEOPLE. These were invaluable when making my choice. I looked at their pics, read thier reviews and everything the site offered. I feel secure in my choice and cannot wait to get there.

Oh yeah, Jet Blue was the cheapest fair we found. Again, this is from NY but give them a look.

Never been. I'm sure it must be fantastic. Been to Hawaii and loved that. Aruba must be 10 times better.

We went to Aruba last year and planning to go this May. We loved it!!!!! The beach is the best in carribbean. The people were great also. We felt right at home. I would suggest staying at Palm Beach. It's the best beach in Aruba!!!!

My sister and her husband went there for their honeymoon...very beautiful, however she said it was windy ALL the time...you just couldn't get away from it..(it is an island, so that should be expected)....but just be prepared!!

ya, I went last august. it does have a pretty cool nightlife(in some place), it's really hot and super humid in the summer. If you're going, don't go to the holiday inn. But if you love snorkeling, it's great down there. There's a shipwreck that's 400 feet long, you should definitely check that out. There's allot to do and it's allot of fun. Enjoy!

I've never been to Aruba, but I hear it's beautiful, looks it, too. I've been to Barbados & Trinidad, but Barbados is MY FAVOURITE ISLAND!

If you like Black People you should have a ball there. Its the caribbean now so keep that in mind. Rich white people there too.
