We were in Cuba the last week of April first week of May last year and the weather was absolutely fantastic and hot, never gone brown in my life till we went to Cuba and I was well chuffed, its a very beautiful place and the Cubans are amazingly lovely people who will go out of their way to make your holiday even better for you, take all your toiletries with you as you can't much in Cuba and what you can is very expensive, buy a good sun cream and after sun, if you can get your hands on the Avon skin so soft spray oil that is really good, a guy sell it cheap on EBay, it stops the mossies coming near you so well worth buying not that we had problems with them more so the sand flies, pesky little things so try spray your legs from the knees downwards at nights before you go out as that stops them, you just take sterling with you and exchange it at the hotel and they don't rip you off either, you can take credit cards too as long as their not American bank based ones, the ocean and beaches are just so beautiful and its just like stepping into bath tub warm water, take bread and banana from the hotel restaurant into the sea with you to feed the fish that is amazing seeing them come swarming round you to eat, have a fantastic time and enjoy your holiday.

No, unfortunately, I have not. I've been to Barbados May 'til early June 2005. It only rained a lot during the beginning of hurricane season that time as I remember.

Hurricane season: June 1 to Nov. 30.
