Has anyone been to sunset jamaica grande resort in ocho rios? we are going there over christmas? |
how far is negril from ocho riios ? everyone seems to think this is the place to go. did we make the wrong decision? i hope we wont regret it. we are not picky people. only been one trip and that was moon palace in cancun. that was a beautiful place to stay but it got hit by the hurricane last year. waiting for that to get rebuilt again |

I have been there twice and let me tell you, prepare to live in the lap of luxury! Its such a beautiful place, the staff there are so well trained and pleasant, they are so nice and my favorite part would have to be the food, no the FOOD! MM mm, believe me you're gonna love it, love it, love it. Enjoy yourself when you go. It will be easy to forget theres a world outside the resort lOL but All of Ocho Rios is lovely, be sure to check it out.
Also Negril is about a 2 - 2.5 hour drive from Ocho Rios |

I live 25 miles from Ocho Rios and I have been to Sunset Ja Grande twice. It's a great family resort, so I don't forsee you having any regrets. Lot's of pools, bars, all you can eat resturants, cozy rooms, activities for kids, adult fun... it's a nice place, believe.
Negril caters more to an adult audience. But Ocho Rios is in 'The Garden Parish', and you'll love the environment. No worries.
Oh, and Negril and Ocho Rios are a long way from each other (can't remember off hand how many miles apart, but I'd estimate it at about 90). But if you're not staying in a hotel there, there's no need for you to go there. |

Go to TripAdvisor.com and type in the resort name in the search area. You will get reviews of previous visitors. Be warned, not everyone will have loved the resort so the reviews will vary. Also, check out the forums section. You can ask questions there and also view other questions. Have a great trip. |

I have been to Sunset beach resort and spa in montego bay, Jamaica. sunset jamacia grande resort is one of the resorts that originated from sunset beach resort. sunset beach resort is beautiful, so i believe sunset jamacia wil be just as beautiful. |

Its very nice but nothing looks better then the RIU2 but the staff is nice and the pool of course you will have a splendid time even though your not at the RIU2 |
