They claim to have 365 beaches but I only saw five. You can avoid scores of tourists and find quiet secluded beaches if you like. Sailing and Cricket are very popular there. There are parties on boats like the Jolly Rogers excursion. If you like to gamble there are casinos in town. The island is small and the people are friendly.

Dickenson Beach is fantastic. It's so beautiful, as I was enjoying it, I turned to my husband and said this looks like we're in a tv commercial.

Yep, they do have 365 beaches. It's easy to find one that's quiet and doesn't have many people.

Antigua has many of the typical things to do on a Caribbean island other than beaching and dining. The shopping is a little better than the average island. It has a fair amount of history including forts and an historical district. Sea View Farm Village has folk arts and crafts.

Then you can always do plenty of the normal recreation -- snorkeling, scuba, parasailing, jet skiing, etc.

Highly Favoured
Ye, i went to Antigua twice. it is a beautiful place with many beaches. It is said that they have 365 beaches for every day of the year. The tours are lovely. We went to where Gravy a local character at cricket live. If you are not a cricket fan that would bot pertain to you. An island tour would be good.
