Has anyone ever honeymooned in Aruba? and if so can you recommend a good place to stay and must dos there.?

Let's see...you absolutely must go snorkeling at Baby's Beach...even if you don't swim (like me) you can accomplish this the water is only waist high for about a football field...it's like swimming in an aquarium. Plus, Coco Beach is right on the water on that side of the island and you will thoroughly enjoy the food & drinks with your toes in the sand.

Go to The Flying Fishbone in Savanetta for dinner. Make reservations for the sunset...bring your bug spray but if you forget, they have plenty on hand. It's on the water, very romantic.

Also, even with all the bad publicity Carlos n' Charlies is a fun night out.

Money concious? Stay in La Quinta...low-rise hotel, great beach and a good location. If money isn't a care stay at Marriot or Hyatt. La Cabana is nice but the 3 of them are very populated.

You'll love iit, I promise. They deal with plenty of American $ so don't worry about the exchange...it's not worth the effort.

We celebrated our 15th anniversary in Aruba. We personally do like major resorts, and usually stay in what is called "Low Rise" hotels in Aruba. Our personal preference: Manchebo Beach Hotel. Some say it looks like Days Inn, that is fine with us. It is located on the most beautiful area of Aruba - Eagle Beach. We have been to Aruba 5 times, and we will go again if we can in the future. If you need any pointers on good restaurant let me know, I can recommend quite a few from personal experience.

We went to Aruba a couple years ago and I would definately go back again. Aruba is a very nice place to visit. It has great beaches and hotels and plenty of nice restaurants. It also has a few casinos in several of the hotels. There is not much to do in Aruba other than beach stuff. You can tour the island in half a day; youâ€™ll see the lighthouse, a national park thatâ€™s kinda like wilderness, a cave with some petroglyphics, and a natural bridge where the water comes under it and washes onto a small beach. There is a tour that takes you in a jeep across some of the desert areas but I would skip this.

You really don't need a car in Aruba, there's not that much to drive to see. Baby Beach is kinda nice but don't feel disappointed if you don't get there. Its not that special. You can easily take a public bus to town from the beach areas. There are lots of water sports in Aruba including jet skis, snorkel and scuba, parasailing and wind surfing and just lounging on the beaches. The casinos are nice, but small. Restaurants are rather expensive. I do recommend the Marriott in Aruba; itâ€™s a great hotel. There are tow Radisson Hotels, one in town and the other outside of town, which are both great. The one in town has its own private island beach for its guests.

I have been there twice, not for honeymoons. my fav place in the world so far. And YES there are more than 2 hotels. There is a beach for low rises and a beach for high rises. i have stayed at Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort both times. Do u search for Aruba bulletin boards. Take lots of sunblock, if u wear 15 up here, where 30 down there, very strong rays. always a constant trade wind blowing, very nice , most hotels have an open entrance because of the excellent weather. try visitaruba.com also. have fun and enjoy

I didn't honeymoon there but I did take a vacation there and it was wonderful. We stayed at a Holiday inn but spent a lot of our time at The Hyatt Resort because of it's wonderful gambling facilities. It's a beautiful island with plenty to do. You can golf, snorkel, scuba, deep sea fish, there is a party boat that goes out plus a party bus that takes you to all the downtown bars. It's very easy to get around by renting a jeep. We drove ourselves and followed a tour group on an island tour. I would highly recommend going there. Plus you can drink the water safely since they have their own purification facility on the island.

My husband and I love Aruba. We went on a cruise that stopped there on our honeymoon a couple years ago and we loved it some much we went back for 9 days the next year. You can either stay in the Palm beach area where all the big high rise hotels are or you can stay downtown at the Renaissance Marina Hotel. The island is so small that you can't go wrong but we loved the Renaissance Hotel. It is divided into the all adult Marina side or the suites section for families. The Renaissance is awesome it has it's own private beach (which is beautiful-white sand, palm trees, hammocks, warm clear water) which is also divided into family and European (nude) beach. [The entire time we saw two older ladies topless but the best part was no kids] . It is centrally located downtown next to most clubs and restaurants. There is a great cigar club you can walk to I can't remember the name but it is connected to a popular Argentian steakhouse on the island. The must do is the Flying Fishbone for dinner. It is about a $35 cab ride from downtown and even further from Palm Beach and it is right on the beach, book early at their website for reservations especially if you want front two rows on the water (your feet will be wet from the ocean) it is very romantic and the food was great). Where you pick you will have a great time, it is the best island in the Caribbean.

We stayed at the raddison on both our 10 and 15 anniversaries and loved it There is an italian rest. near the lighthouse that was amasing ate there at night and you could see almost the whole island. The food was great and take it from someone who is from the NY area the food was great

I heard there are only like two big hotels there- since it's a fairly small place- so your choices are limited to two good options- you can't lose
