I am leaving next weekend for Royal Plantation in Ocho Rios Jamaica. It is a Beaches/Sandals property but more upscale. It is right next door to the Sandals resort in Ocho Rios. We went to the Royal Hicacos in Varadero in august 2003 (honeymoon) and had a great time. Sandals have another hotel in Cuba now..not sure where? I would try Cuba, because it is a lot cheaper than going to the other Sandals (can be twice as cheap).

I totally agree with Nick. If the vacation is you and your sweetheart, Hedonism resorts are a good choice.

Me and my boyfriend went this last March to Sandals Montego Bay and it is WONDERFUL!! Very romantic and Private. Well worth it. Huge Private beach and lots of water sports, and the staff were really nice. Anything you want, no problem! Definitely recommend it.
