My family and I are considering going there over New Years vacation. Have you ever been there and if so what did you think about it? Was it very expensive? |

Atlantis is a beautiful building and friendly staff. There is plenty to do while on your stay. The draw backs are the price, every thing beside the room deal you may find is very expensive. The crowd is big and there is hardly any privacy and you have to share your space.
If you are looking to get away from it all Atlantis is not the place to be. If you are looking at a getaway, to see and be seen, to see latest fashions, and up your neighbours one, then it is a perfect spot for you.
I would recommend the British Colonial Hilton, the Wyndom or the Sheraton over Atlantis, but I am a casual a heart. |

If you are planning on this coming New Years.. you should book as soon as possible. They sell out quickly.
Atlantis is very expensive.. and New Years even more so.
I'm not a big fan of this place. Too Vegas for my taste. And I don't like thier politics.. |

I am going to stay in Atlantis this June. I think the place its really beautiful. They have all different towers. The most expensive one I think it's reef towers. Even in low season they cost a lot of money. I couldn't imagine what is the rate for holiday season such as New year would be. I will share stories after the trip ;) |

It's going to cost an arm and a leg to stay at Atlantis over New Year's, not to mention airfare, but if money is no object, go for it. You can use the facilities of Atlantis, for much less money, by staying at the Comfort Suites across the street, though that will still be expensive at NY.

I went in November 2007 and it cost about 100,000$ / day
But it's an amazingly beautiful hotel! |
