Lexi and Bombastic are right....

We wear normal clothes, no grass skirts and coconut bras lol.

Since the weather is usually warm, for casual everyday-wear, we tend to stick to cool, comfortable clothes.......i can hardly think of any other way to describe our clothing than normal, think Miami or Cali, as bombastic said. But when it gets cold, we layer up and put on sweaters like anybody else.

Like anywhere else, we stick to professional looking, office attire for work, and formal wear where required.

Here are some examples of Jamaican clothing lines (everyday-wear):
-Cooyah: http://www.cooyah.com/
- Yahdie Conscious: http://www.yahdieconscious.com/

As Lexi said, some Jamaicans are very fashion forward, so we either set the trend and others follow or we're right up there with the latest styles/fashions. But don't worry about that
You can find practically any brand of clothing out here, basic things to high-end couture.

Hope this helps. Email if you need anything else~*

The same kind people wear in the rest of the world...Jamaicans are VERY fashion forward.

Pretend that you are in Miami, California or any resort in the US, and that will give you some idea. Jamaicans love to wear stylish clothes and party hard.

They are very smart people and nearly every woman knows how to handle a sewing machine and run up smart little outfits for herself and her family. Here are some links:

Welcome To Jamaica Man, leave all your clothes at home!
They wear shorts, tank-tops, sundresses, or nothing at all,
there is a really cool nude beach there! Kinda like Hawaiian
style clothes. Be prepared to dress in dinner style clothes for
evening meals! It's alot of fun there, you should go!

Jamerican Steve
We wear vibrant and striking clothes. At least, I did in my 14 years there before migrating to the USA.

Don't worry much what everyone is wearing. Wear somethiing lightweight like cottons and linens so YOU can stay comfortable in the weather.

Have fun,

Steve
