Got back last month from Puetro Plata. It was a blast I would go back. The all inclusive resort is a must. Its nice not to have to have cash on you. The people are very nice and the exchange rate was decent. |

Never been but a friend of mine raves about it. She wants us all to go there for her birthday. See below. |

I'm Dominican and of course I love it, I haven't been there in years, but I'm going back on august 10, I missed being there so much, hopefully in going to Finnish college and go to live there forever or at least travel back and forth, might be allot of work but I think its worth it. |

one of the best islands in the caribbean. santo domingo (the capital) doesn't really have it's own beach but the nearby beach/resort town of la romana is absolutely magnificent. you'll definetly enjoy your stay. just don't stray too far from the touristy areas because it can get rough and dangerous, mind you that's true everywhere including the u.s. |

been to punta cana 2 times in less then a year. going back soon.(do i need to say more.) also been to santo domingo once but as a tour all day and the cities along the way are very nice. i wouldnt mind moving down there tho. ppl are much nicer down there then here in the us. i also felt 10x's safer there then the us.(there are cops on a lot of the streets in town with guns in there arms and night clubs(all that stuff). its the best place to be!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I started planning my second trip as soon as I got back from the first. Been three times and loved every minute. The landscape is lush and green and the people are beautiful. I'm American and noticed that almost every other tourist I met was European. People are missing out. |

Yes in a heartbeat. Ive been to Cuba and Mexico to. I find the DR landscape eyecandy. those palm trees are so tall. The beaches are nice and water warm. Cuba though takes my heart. Nothing will ever beat Cuba. |

I loved Punta Cana and will go back again this year. My wife and I bring crayons, coloring books, toys and games for the children and donate them to the schools and also the hotel staff who have children who work so hard for the little they get paid.
Very nice people and great climate. |
