Yes I'm puerto rican there are lots of things and places in the island to visit first of all you have to go to old san Juan where you will find old fortresses, museums, restaurants, stores and at night there are allot of fine dining and clubs to go to.The condado area is a very chick place to go to but not a huge tourist area there. You have to visit our rain forest called El Yunque its beautiful. In Puerto Rico you will find lots of beaches but not all of them are great the beach i recommend is the beach of Flamingo in culebra it is considered the 3rd most beautiful beach in the world !!! Also if you have further questions contact me and ask me ill be glad to answer ur questions about puerto rico !!! |

Yes. The buses to San Juan and back are very cheap--fifty cents the last time I was there. Go to Old San Juan. From there you can hook up inexpensive excursions by boat around the coastal areas. Good restaurants, pretty and not as crowded as San Juan.

Well, I have family all over the island. I usually stay at my abuela's house in Carolina, the Metropolis area. In the morning, she cooks huevos fritos and we eat that with pan de agua, which is awesome. Luquillo beach is 20-25 minutes away depending on which day of the week your going, since the work week is from Monday-Friday, just like here in the U.S. You'll mostly see tourists inhabit the beach, and its really quiet on the weekdays surprisingly. And on the weekends people inhabit the casitas and have a barbeque and go swimming. We also venture into places like Viejo San Juan, Ponce, Bayamon, Trujillo Alto, Fajardo, and go shopping at the malls Plaza Carolina and Plaza Las Americas, I actually like that one better than Plaza Carolina. Pretty much, in Puerto Rico, if your just tourist there, all you do is just eat, relax, go to the beach, go shopping, and just explore.. Its awesome. |

I lived in Juncos, PR for about 3 months in 2000. I tried to find a job out there but since I am not bi-lingual, I had not luck so I had to move back to the states. I was with my gf when I lived there.
One of the interesting things that they had out there we special tracks set up for Hot Wheels Cars. They were actually having weekly races and people were taking home trophies the size of professional bowling trophies! It go so big that the government began to require all the track operators to buy a license (which, of course, translated to revenue for the Puerto Rican government).
I enjoyed my stay there but I did not enjoy the constant humidity and I did not enjoy the way the locals drive. |

I VISIT PUERTO RICO EVERY SEPTEMBER AND HAVE BEEN DOING SO FOR THE LAST 10 YEARS. THERE IS SO MUCH TO DO THAT MOST PEOPLE ARE SHOCKED AS THE BELIEF IS THAT THERE IS ONLY SAN JUAN TO EXPLORE. WE SPEND THE BULK OF OUR TIME IN RINCON, LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF PUERTO RICO ABOUT 2 1/2 HRS WEST OF SAN JUAN. THIS IS WHERE THE BEST BEACHES ARE. THE SUNSETS ARE INCREDIBLE AS IS THE SNORKELING, DIVING, AND SURFING.
THE EAST SIDE IN THE FAJARDO AREA OFFERS THE EL YUNQUE RAIN FOREST, ACCESS TO THE SISTER ISLANDS OF CULEBRA AND VIEQUES. TWO OF PUERTO RICO'S BEST BIO-BAYS ARE ALSO HERE LOCATED IN FAJARDO AND VIEQUES ! IF YOU WANT MORE INFO CLICK ON MY I-CON AND CONTACT ME DIRECTLY |

Yes, I sure have! It was April of last year. My family and I spent three days and two nights in the Candado section of San Juan (5 minutes away from the International Airport). On the same day we arrived there, I saw MANY beautiful Boriqua women, young AND old! It was pouring-down raining that day. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner at this restaurant named Bebo's Cafe. The food was great (ESPECIALLY the tres leche cake)! I had to order food for my family in Spanish since I was the only one in my family who knows more Spanish than everyone else and has a major in foreign language (I didn't mind, though.). The people there are nice and friendly. Hell, if I had a choice AND had enough money, I would LITERALLY LIVE there! |

Yes I have. I lived in Aibonito, PR when I was much younger with my grandparents. I go every year to visit my family in Aibonito and Sabana Grande. I love it over there. I love everything about the island; the food, the people, the history, the culture etc. It's very Americanized, most of the stores you find over here in the US they have in PR.
I go to the beaches, the malls, the museums, the seafood restaurants in the coastal areas and the tourist places. I like to go to historical places where I can learn more about the history and culture of the island. I also enjoy visiting my family. We sit in the balcony at night listening to the coquis and talking and joking about what happened that day and stuff like that.
There are so many things to do over there. |

I LOVE Puerto Rico, I bought a map, but only so that I could find the longest possible way to get where I was going, I almost wanted to get lost, that was how I found some of the most beaustiful views (especially on the interior of the island). At very least, try to take a different route every time. For the BEST PR food, go to El Sevilla, it's between Gurabo and Juncos, My Tio Raul (my great uncle Raul) owns it. Every town town in PR has a town square, no matter how small the town, and they are all beautiful, usually an open plaza with a fountain in the middle, and an old Cathedral at on end. The People are EXTREMELY friendly. Women are greeted with a kiss on the cheek, men shake hands. Driving is a lot of fun! People drive CRAZY there, but I liked it ;) There are more roads per sq mile in PR than anywhere else on Earth, so explore! Oh, and a couple more, check out the biolminescent bay at La Parguera, Go on the weekends, and the streets are packed with shrimp carts and arts and crafts and it's a lot of fun, then go on the glass bottom boat in the evening, then when you get back, it's likea giant street party, it's one of my most vivid memories from a trip there when i was young (like 10). Also , go to Rincon! I love that town and the beaches. The restaurant "Calypso" is the quintessential carribean bar. It's just open air, right on the beach, live music, and a cold rum punch or better yet, Una Medalla! I'l be back there this spring, looking for some property to buy, I love it that much! |
