Jo-Anne

Have you ever fallen prey to a tall, dark, handsome, sexy man while on vacation and he plays you like a fiddle?

Went to the Dominican, met a nice guy ( wow he worked for the resort in a suit) We'd meet after his shift , i was happy with this being just a vacation and relaxing. I didn't know he was seeing a lot more girls ON THE RESORT... oh boy, wasn't funny to see. He was a DOG.

Relax, it was just a vacation fling, nothing wrong about it, but don't take it serious, "and they lived happily ever after" doesn't apply here.
Ok he's a typical gigolo but there's nothing wrong about it either. Combination of macho mentality and poverty needs to be blamed. Probably he has a wife and maybe even children somewhere in the countryside.
But those "beach boys" are still a part of "paradise" for many many women, and it's stupid to call them losers. Prolly those who do just never had sex with a beach boy themselves (he he).

Yes. Anyone who travels and is open to meeting locals is probably in the same boat. Unfortunately, it happens. Tourists are easy targets because we often don't know the norms and habits of the country we visit. Also we're seen as "easy" because well, let's face it, lots of people travel with the party mentality. And its very hard to resist a nice-looking man who treats you courteously (at least to your face) with an accent.

At least you found out before it got really far (emotionally, at least, I don't know how far it went physically). Don't worry about it, it happens to LOTS of women. Keep enjoying your vacation!

yeah, go take it all out on him! heheh, joke.. >:D

lesson learned: never fall in love while on vacation. most of them end up as a regretful one time thing.

What did you expect? hope you didn't have sex and if you did, hope your not carrying a friend home. He seems like a walking STD factory
