Yes, I hear of it daily, as I live there. If you are keen on beaches, then it is the place for you, as its beaches are superlative and keep winning awards. The most famous beach is Grace Bay Beach, but there are many more secluded beaches in the islands where you can relax and pretend that you are on a desert island of your very own. http://www.paradise.tc/gracebay.html

b don't know, but probably
Instead of asking loads of questions on YA about the Caribbean, try a site like "Trip Advisor", where you'll get more sense. |

Turks and Caicos. Beautiful beaches. The water is the prettiest aqua color. Very clear water. The beaches are white sand and the sand never gets hot. Turks and Caicos is just below the Bahamas.
Grace Bay Beach on Providencies, Turks and Caicos is the place to stay.
Visit and enjoy) |

yes i have... they have been trying to become part of canada for about 100 years... I think they want a fresh water sourse... they are surrounded by salt water (aka killer beaches)... for what ever reason canada wouldn't take them in. |

Yes, I'm taking my family there tomorrow. It's a small chain of islands in the Caribbean. Of course, there's beaches on islands. Marvelous snorkeling, good weather, very tropical. |

I went to Turks & Caicos, (Beaches Resort), in 2003. It was out of this world. They are know for the best scuba diving spot in the world!!! Beaches are awesome as well. |

Yes, we went there on our honeymoon and it was absolutely beautiful. The waters are crystal clear. When we went, it was basically unknown about 12 years ago. I am told they they were building up. Try to look at the Ocean Club in Provo, it is condominiums which are right on the water. Have fun, if you go. |
