Yes I have... Trinidad carnival is an experience I will never forget! Beautiful people, the music is so sweet, great food and drinks galore. That time of the year is for you to free up and dance until your feet hurt! The costumes are gorgeous and sexy! I love Trinidad carnival... and yes I would definitely do it again!

AAAAhhhhhhhh sweet, sweet Trinidad! Girl it is an out of body experience............................Co... Feb, Clarence you will be the only one in FL. trust

curious!
Picture yourself among the most beautiful coustumes and delicious food and groovy music! Where all races, ages, backgrounds come together to celebrate true Trini culture at its best!

When its okay to roam the streets in scantily clad materials - regardless of you age or size! Where you walk, jump, wine and chip for miles without complaining that your feet aches!

Where you dance with the music of steelpan and sweet soca music with reckless abandon!

Where you cover your self with mud and oil for Jouvert and come out to party early in the morning playing Jab Jab and Devil!

Where after all the winning and partying straight for days yuh either repent by getting Ashes or Cool down on Ash Wednesday at Maracas or Manzanilla or whatever beach the after party is at!

Born and raised in Trinidad and presntly live in Tobago. Carnival here is fantastic, the best you will ever experience. I have played mas a number of years and never had a bad experience just great times. I felt safe in the band on the streets as most bands hire private security for the masqueraders and they do not allow onlookers to jump into the band. My advice, try it, you won´t regret it and you will want to do year after year.

i left London at 14 and after so many years of carnival in London, i went to Trinidad and had the most tasteful addictive year of carnival. it was in february but those Trini's party all year round lol. and talk about addictive, i stayed for four years and an English carnival can't touch the experience i had out there.
food was scrumptious, i loved jouver't (dont know if thats the right spelling), the whole mud mass was excellent. going to wash off in the sea...oooh where in the world but trinidad. i must admit that i am obsessed with Trinidad, thats the effect it had on me....and the men...lol say no more

I have been enjoying Carnival and playing mas since I was a small child. I have yet to have a bad experience. Carnival is a wild, wonderful celebration of the culture, ingenuity and talent of the people of Trinidad and Tobago and I will do it again and again while I have breath in my body.

no ive never visited the trinidad carnival but i will one day also the brazil carnival and the notting hill carnival where i live in london

Clarence...you living in Florida and talking bout crime and corruption? I think the sun done adle yuh brain.

Girl, my granny's house is on one of the parade route streets so every year I would sit in her gallery with my firends and family and have the best macoing (ahem, viewing) station.

I always had tons of fun and whether you are playing mas or just spectating, you'll have a great time. I have never found crime to be a big issue (even criminals have to take time out to wine!), just use common sense like you would in any other strange, crowded place.
