I have yet to do a swingers vacation BUT my husband and I have gone to clubs a few times. We have fun having sex in front of people and its pretty relaxed. The liberation of wearing little or nothing, theres a bar, a pool table, poo, dance floor. Not everyone actually swings there. There are people who creep up on you, but tell them no with a wave of the hand and theyre gone. Id imagine itd be the same at the resort. Have fun, no means no.

My wife and I have been to Hedonism many times and we are not swingers. We get questioned by people in the "Lifestyle", but when we say no thanks they back off. It is very good for our ego that others are interested in us. It is also a very sexy vacation and will improve your sex life.

Never been there, so I'm not sure what the nudist : vanilla: swinger ratio is there. I do know that it's a popular destination for swingers, though.

Swingers are not like pirhanas. At least most aren't. There are two types: the swingers, and the wannabe-swinger assholes. You may run into the odd couple/single who is pushy and clueless and uncouth (the wannabe-swinger asshole), but a quick chat with someone in management (ask a bartender who you should speak with) should correct the problem straightaway. Don't put up with people crowding you. The reason we haven't been to Hedo is because it's damned expensive! Don't let someone ruin your vacation!

Most of the swinging couples you're likely to meet, if they express any interest at all, will respectfully withdraw - perhaps even apologizing - when you give them a polite "No thank you. We're not in the lifestyle." Generally, experienced swingers have something called "playdar". It's like a sixth sense we have about other couples. We have this uncanny way of picking up "vibes" from one another, and tuning in on who plays and who doesn't. If you don't swing, you likely won't be putting off any playdar pings. You may still get couples hitting on you if you very attractive and if it is obvious to them that you're very much in love with one another (for example, your friends make finger-gagging faces whenever you start cooing at one another like lovesick newlyweds). If they hit on you, consider it a compliment.

So if by "bothered by" you mean will you be harassed by swingers, then no, you shouldn't be. If you find you are being harassed, speak to management. Will you notice "things" that seem a little bit strange? Probably. But then again...that's why people go there, isn't it?

If seeing others being non-monogamous bothers you, you might want to consider a trip to a nudist resort rather than Hedo.

Don't bother unless you like seeing withered up wrinkled body parts. Been there, done that...i think the average age of a guest there is probably 55+! Trust me, the resort is not what they make it out to be. Spend your $ elsewhere and you'll have much more fun.
