Hi does anyone know if i can use my British MasterCard in Cuba at my resort?

A lot depends who the card issuer is.

Most places in Cuba accepte Mastercard and Visa. But cards issued through US banks are blocked in Cuba - they include the cards issued by MBNA, for instance.(So cards such as Marbles, John Lewis don't work in Cuba).

Check with your card issuer.

yes, as long as is not a US bank issued card , they take Visa and MC

If your Master Card is issued by an U.S. Bank then you can not use it but other countries are ok. I would call your credit card company (which you should do anyway to inform them of your travel destination) and ask them about using your card in Cuba. If your resort is part of a chain then your chances of your card being accepted in VERY good. Send an email to the resort and ask them which cards they accept.

you can definably use Mastercard in Cuba as a whole , as for in your individual resort I have no idea!!

If the resort accepts Mastercard then you can use it.
If I were you I would phone my bank though because they are coming out with a new system called a card reader.

yes mastercard covers alot of foreign places these days and you can use them almost anywhere. I know they accept in Cuba as my aunt goes there quite alot and complains about her bill at the end of the month...lol
