can anyone recommend a good place to go on holiday where the drinking age is 18 and not full of people wanting fights (malia)
i need somewhere i can relax but have fun aswell.
wherever you go there will be the idiots who drink too much, shout too much, want to fight everyone ..... the trick of any good traveller is to acknowledge they exist, know where they go and avoid them.... so when you're looking at a holiday check out where the 'hotspots' (as the travel agents call them) are - and avoid them.... it's easy to do .... foreign countries are just like our own .... there are areas where you will find trouble and areas where you won't..... make a point of asking when considering booking a holiday.... go on line and look up the tourist information of countries .... there's lots there that will point you in the right direction of areas in their country where you can forget those other idiots exist! As an 18 yr old you could consider an activity holiday - you know something that has rock climbing and absailing, or perhaps exploring caves, or learning to sail - and you will be with people who want a good time without problems ..... these sort of holidays I am sure will not appeal to the drunken fist-wielding embarrassments.....!

How much do you have to spend, Mexico is a great place for a holiday.

It's a shame what Malia's become, or what the media want you to believe it has become.
I was there last year & the year before that, and I had an amazing time. No fights, just people wanting to party.
A big group of my friends were in Portugal this year and really enjoyed it. They were in Albufera I think. They said they had some good nights out, but also relaxed. Sounded good. :)

I would recommend Sidari in corfu. Nice beach, loads of restaurants and bars, but it doesn't get the '18-30' type crowd, as the local mayor has apparently banned this type of tour operator from the resort.

you would love Ibiza, just as long as you are sensible.........wherever you go wanting a good time there will be people that do not know their limits and if you are intelligent and keep out of the trouble spots.
Depends how far you want to go and how much you have to spend.
You do not say if you ar travelling on your own or not.
Just keep away from the states here you will not be able to even have an alcohol free beer
