Honeymoon ??? Where should we go? |
My future husband and I are trying to plan our honeymoon. We are hoping to go somewhere where we probably will never return to. At the top of our list are the following places..... Tahiti, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadine Islands, St. Barts....
Just wondering if anyone has feedback on these places :) |

Every location you have listed are all GREAT!!!
Honest, you can't go wrong with any of them, but if you both don't have a passport you might want to consider St. Thomas or the other U.S. islands.
Great clear blue water, great diving at each, great fishing, and great sun!
Congrats and always remember why you married your best friend...and don't sweat the small stuff...life is too short! |

My sister and her husband just went to the Sandals Resort in St. Lucia. They said it was amazing! They rooms were very very nice, and they are used to staying in extremely nice resorts. You can get a normal room with a balcony, or upgrade and get one with a private pool. There are all sorts of different rooms, it just depends on what you are looking for and money. They said the beach and resort were beautiful! Sandals are obviously all-inclusive. They said the lunch food was great, and the dinner was pretty good. You can always go somewhere else for dinner too. What was really great for them was the alcohol. Having all-inclusive alcohol saved them so much money! They could just drink at the pool all day and at night! Her husband was able to go golfing twice. They went zip-lining on the Island. They took a helicopter to their resort. There were private hammocks and cabanas for the guests. Im not sure if you are looking for this type of Honeymoon, but the pictures I saw were amazing! |

St. Lucia and go to Ladera hotel. Oprah Winfrey has stayed there among many other celebrities. I have been there about three times and it's breathtaking and phenomenal. You have three walls on your own condo and the fourth "wall" is a complete view of the St. Lucians Pitons. You have your own personal pool, kitchen, balcony, shower looking over the Pitons, AMAZING cuisine.....
I know that Ladera is very pricey so I would suggest staying there for one night just for the experience. They have honeymoon rooms which are more cozy.
After staying there for one night, I would suggest staying at the bottom by the beach at a cheaper beach-view resort.
Even if you don't go to this area of St. Lucia I am suggesting, I would say to go there out of your choices. St. Lucia has the beautiful beaches and scenery but it also has such culture to go along with it. Visit a banana plantation, visit Pigeon Island....Good luck! |

I would do Tahiti/Bora Bora or Hawaii! More things to do, you can go island hopping too.
I've been to St Barts and honestly it's nothing great. It is beautiful of course, but for the price that you pay to go there, you could find a lot better!
