Go to TripAdvisor.com and type your resort name (Couples Negril) in the search area. There are almost 900 reviews written by previous visitors there. You can also view pictures and videos that some of them posted and you can ask questions in the forum area. You will get more and better answers there than here. You can learn a LOT about Jamaica, Negril, and your resort at that site. Have a great honeymoon!

I have not stayed at Negril Couples, but have stayed in Negril several times. First and foremost, don't listen to the propaganda posted by the person who wants you to think Jamaica is a battleground. The pictures he posted are not of Negril and one of them is a high school bathroom in Kingston. Real nice touch on that one...
Negril is beautiful and as a honeymoon spot it is ideal. As said before, Ricks Cafe is a must and also check out a day trip to Dunn's River Falls or Mayfield's Falls. There is so much to do in Negril and anything you can think of is available. If only for the sunset, it is worth it!

Negril is very beautiful, and you can't go wrong with it as a choice for your honeymoon. Couples resorts are always rated very high. I have stayed at Grand Lido Negril (near the Couples), and the beach has to be one of the best in the world. Even though you are on your honeymoon, a great side trip would be to visit Rick's Cafe at sunset....you can either take a transfer to the resort on land or sign up for a sunset cruise and get there by water. It's on the 1000 things to see before you die list...and the cliff divers are so fun to watch. If you are brave enough you can join in the action!

My husband and I went to Sandals Ochos Rios for our honeymoon and we had an awesome time. The resort has a private beach, lots of pools, nightlife, good food and drinks so you don't have to leave the resort. i recommend not leaving the resort (unless you go to Dunn River Falls) because like another person said, the island is not very pretty otherwise. But, we had a great time at the resort, I highly recommend it!

You will have the time of your life
As stated its for couples - use your imagination
There is a one time only honey moon but there is so much to do within the resort you need not leave and remember you are on your honey moon
Check it out on line maybe

The previous answer its true on new devepolement there are guards there are wires this is in the inner part of the island

what do you want a so so honey moon or one to remember

Beej
I did not stay at that resort. But I have been to Jamaica twice, the island is a giant dump. Razor wire fences around everything, and armed guards around all the malls! Jamaica can be fun, but not for a honeymoon. I would do my honeymoon in Cancun, Grand Cayman, or the Bahamas. That way you can walk around without getting kidnapped.

To answer Kira's question below, here are armed guards & the general trash you'll find in Jamaica...
