Seriously consider renting a car- you can do that at the airport in Montego Bay if that's where you arrive. Driving on the wrong side isn't too difficult. Don't get off the beaten path though. Evita's Italian restaurant in O.R. is great! You'll be there for 2 weeks- eventually you'll want something other than jerk. O.R. is a cruise ship destination. Expect lots of other tourists. The water fall in O.R. is OK. Don't pay to hike up the falls, you can do that on your own if that's what you want to do. Expect to be approached by locals trying to sell you goods and services. Say no firmly and keep walking. Have fun.

Oh, do NOT rent a car... unless you're planning on dying. Seriously, the driving in Jamaica is crazy!!!

I've been to Jamaica twice. I recommend doing a lot of different activities. The hotel will most likely have a bunch of brochures for you two to look at. We heard that Dunns River Falls was overrated so we did some other things in place of that. One of my favorite activities that we did was river tubing. I also went scuba diving but it was so windy that day that I didn't see much fish. I recommend the shopping just to get a taste of the Jamaican culture. The people are so fun!!

Just keep yourselves busy and the memories will come!!

If you are going to Ocho Rios you must go swimming with Dolphins! What a fabulous experience, also visit Dunn's River Falls.

Ochi RIos is a wonderful place,but can only be enjoyed by angles.1st if your into clubbing,try and experience the night life on the hipstrip.Interested in seeing the parish from a bird's eye view,arrange for a helicopter trip while there.In the day,get to know the place,wak around stop by places on your way.Observe the people and their actions,bring your girlfriend to a nice getaway and just relax.Many places to see I tell you this.

You could visit Dunn's River Falls(of one Jamaica's well known waterfalls) which also has a craft market where you can purchase Jamaican souvenirs you also visit Dolphin Cove it's a place where they carry you on a little 'hike' so you can explore Jamaican wildlife(example iguanas, parrots,etc and you can take pictures holding them) then you head back to the beach area where you go out in groups and pet the dolphins and see them do tricks right in front of you and so on and pictures of you will be taken while your swimming with the dolphins.
