try the travel agencies. They have some of the best networks known to humans. The can get you deals cheaper then you can get and they still make money because of how they do it. They mostly work on commissions and only get paid if you book with them. It is a very competitive business and the hotels will cut them very good rates to fill the rooms. Most hotels need at least $50.00 a day from each room they have. every empty room they have cuts into the bottom line and that is why they will seek the help of travel companies.

Rent a timeshare direct from the owner and stay at a nice place for a lot of savings. http://www.timeshareownerscommunity.com/ or www.redweek.com You can then book your airfare separately

You can also try bookit.com . We booked with them last month and got an excellent Jamaica all inclusive deal in a very nice small hotel . They offer a wide variety of different destination & packages.
Our Hotel was great and everything went smooth & perfect. I can highly recommend them.

Two sites I recommend:
selloffvacations.com and expedia.com
Then I print out the package I'm interested in and take it to my travel agent and ask them to beat those prices. Quite often, it will be difficult to beat these prices so the travel agent will offer a travel gift or something to make going through her worth our while.

I used redhotescapes.com and when I told them about a deal from expedia they gave it to me for 20 bucks cheaper and it was the cheapest I could find. And I searched. We went to Jamaica. There e-mail is info@redhotescapes.com they also have a pretty good website. one side for American travelers and another for Canadians.
