In my opinion, there are good online jobs available. Over the last 2 years I have been working online as a virtual customer service rep for a credit card company. Itâ€™s honestly a very easy job---I mainly answer e-mails, add features and address general inquiries.

If I can give one piece of advice though when looking for an online job---NEVER pay a start up fee to join a work at home company or directory. Very few legitimate companies will require you to pay them in order for them in turn to pay you. It defeats the point! Moreover, there are plenty of free sites available! :)

Depending on your skill set---there is a tremendous range in employment opportunities you might be interested in, both part time or full timeâ€”anywhere from data entry and transcription services---to virtual customer care---to writing articles/product reviews and webpage design.

Many transcriptionists get their training through a course of study while others carry their medical terminology knowledge with them from other health related fields. You would need to get the terminology down, and then get started. Many companies want experience so there's a catch-22. This is a great service that allows one to work from home, on their spare time, at their leisure, and still bring in a nice sum of money every month. People have made up to $1000 easily on this site by just working on it in their spare time. It is not going to replace a real job's salary, but it is a very nice bonus.
