How do i smoke this cuban cigar? |
I've never smoked a big cigar before. A friend of mine brought me back one on recent trip to Cuba. One end is clipped (where i light it) but the other end is rounded and doesn't have a hole. Do i snip this end to look like the other end or is there a small hole and i just start sucking away on it? |

There should be a small hole--if not make one. This is the inhaling end.
If you don't have a cigar lighter, use a wooden match to light it--enjoy!
EDIT: Don't listen to those idiots that told you to snip the other end--you'll be spitting out tobacco with every puff and it will ruin the cigar! |

Yes you clip it about 3/4 of the width of the open end. Make sure you light it intensley all around so it doesnt track on one side.
Dont inhale, just put the smoke in your mouth a bit to get the flavors of the cigar. All the tastes the grower wants you to have will be tasted by your mouth receptors. A good bottle of dark wine or Port Wine goes good with your time to yourself.
Finish it don.t try to put it away for later, if you store it its going to stink up your house
Remember Cigars have several times the carcinogenst than cigatettes, it is not intended to be inhaled, just enjoyed for the flavor and earth it was grown in, and different blends of tobacco and cover leaf they added to it

As said poke a hole or clip the rounded end, lick it, light it and enjoy. If you have some available light the cigar with a piece of bamboo it adds a very nice flavor. |

Sophisticated smokers usually have special cigar clippers that they use to slice the tip of the pointed end.
The average Cuban would use their teeth and bite off the end. |
