How do you file a police report in Trini?

file a report in the station. go to the Magistrate Court and take out a restraining order on he and keep a copy on yuh give one to the police in yuh area (always keep a copy with yuh wheyever yuh go in case yuh have to show it to de police)
De police HAVE to give yuh he name and badge no. de police will give a copy of the report but if it have to use as evidence the court will have to make the request for it. Your copy is for your ref. only

Don't mean to be sour but you know how our police force is. although they say to protect and serve somehow they feel that domestic disputes is not dem business.

only when somebody dead they go jus go to take a report. that too depends on if they have A vehicle to get to the murder/suicide scene in a timely manner

for protocol sake let ur friend go and file the report and take out a restrainig order.

that woman and chile better not be u yuh talking bout! cuz then we aint need no police, the trini posee go fix dat.....

if u need to make a report u get to the station in your area, and speak to an officer there, they'll assign someone to your case and (most of the times a long while later) take the report, u'll read over and sign providing everything is accurate and than take your next cause of action.. restraing order etc......
u'll have the officers name for your reference.....
and again, doh make we get on wassy in here yuh know!!!!!!

ok good.. but if he is around the area, have her call the station instead of her coming out of the house, they can also come to take the report....

Do what everyone say, but if she takein out a restraing order, in de (very long) process, tell her to stay by a realitive house who de man doh noe, juss to be safe, cuz hee might get vex and really do sumthing.
and doh let him know she making de report.

i talkin from experience eh, it doh make sense makin ah police report cause most of d time d police doh take d thing serious, my good friend get beat up within an inch of his life... he made reports in THREE (3) stations in south trinidad and believe it or not d police an dem say dey cant find any of d reports!

You would have to go to the station, make a report and pray that you have a constable who takes his job seriously. They do give a copy of the report and the ID number of the reporting constable. Unfortunately, that usually means nothing. The police tend to do almost nothing. AccessDenied is right and it is a shame.

I do sympathise with you, but filing a police report in Trini....hahaha....makes no sense! All the police do in Trini is put on their uniform & collect their salary! No matter how big your issue is, if they take the info, they may never attend to it! A threat is small thing... murderers get away!
