It does not sound like he respects you as a girlfriend OR as a best friend if he cannot be honest with you. Is this someone you really want in your life?? All relationships, whether their love or platonic, should be based on mutual respect. If you walk away, what exactly are you losing??

The man know he have you lock and yuh "safe" which means he could always "make ah tack back" if things sour elsewhere.

well first of all yu cant make anybody love you...but fellas are usually up to some sort some sort of game if he really truely loves you...he will have eyes for only u...even though his head turns wen others pass by..you will always look better in his eyes....give him time and be cautious.

As a Man, Its not the easiest thing to do, but, regardless of the gender, there is always a very sad transition period, however, the circumstances of your breaking up will undoubtedly lessen or increase this period, lying and cheating (which goes together) should lessen this period, start interact with friends more , therefore lessen the lonely period which will cause a reflection of your past relationship, just try to do things you luv, soon your mind and heart will be free to roam again. hence good bye past, hello present and future

if you realy love him, trust me you will never get over him...almost everyday you will thing about him and you will wish you where with him...

if he say she is not his gf, then he is not claiming her....and most mean that she does not mean alot to him..

if he feels that he have to lie to you then i think he loves you too...

talk to him and give him a chance, dont do anything that you might regret in the future

God gave us women a gift called "Women's Intuition". With this gift we always have a "gut feeling" when something isn't right. And most of the time we are right.

I understand that you have loved this man for years and he is your best friend. I personally would not get involved with my best friend because things that I would accept and put up with as a friend I would not put up with when in a relationship. But what works for me would not work for you.

Sometimes men let their ego get the best of them. To some extent I believe he's taking your feelings for granted and probably feel that no matter what he does you'll be around. Maybe he just needs a wake up call. It takes a lot of strength to deal with situations like this.

The best advise I can give you is have a heart to heart conversation with him. Tell him how you feel about this girl and her claims. Let him know that he needs to be honest with you or you will have to move on. If he feels the same way about you, he would listen, and then you should be able to tell if he's being honest as a result you would be able to decide the next step to take. Hope I've helped a bit.
