Depends on the islands
An average dinner or lunch for 2 people in most islands is about US$90-US$140 (this include 2 or 4 drinks meal and dessert) in Places like St.maarten, Anguilla, St.Barths, Trinidad, Curacao, Aruba, Puerto Rico and Guadaloupe. |

depends on where in the Caribbean. The Caymans cost an arm and a leg, while Jamaica is just as beautiful and is a fraction of the cost. |

it all depends on what you are looking for.You can find places to stay at from as little as $20 us per night up to hundreds. You can also get some pretty reasonable group rates which include tours and other special events.Contrary to popular belief, you don"t have to break the bank. |

It only depends on where you go and what you want to do. Yes the food and shopping is good but the stuff is expensive. |

we used to go every year and never spend more than $500 in a week for the whole family. We have scuba dived, snorkeled and stayed in private cabins on the beach. You have to go to a less toursity island. In Honduras, there's Roatan or Utila (Roatan is more upscale, but still rustic). In Belize we went to ... gosh, I can't remember the name, but one of the Cayes. Get a LET'S GO guide and read up on the islands. If you go at a toursity time of year, make sure you make reservations. We spent the mellinium on an island and could not find a hotel. We got lucky and met the mayor who lent us his apartment, though, so it all worked out pretty nicely.
I hate shopping, so I can't answer that question, but we have had some mighty fine food. In fact, once I met a man who worked magic on food. I'll never forget his conch steak :)
We never spent more than $30/ night for lodging, but usually have spent about $15. It's rustic, but it was soooo beautiful. You can spend, on the same islands, hundreds per night. It depends on what you're looking for.
Good luck and have fun!

your best bet is to book a trip at a all inclusive resort, what that means is you pay one price, for all food, drinks, entertainment, non motorized water sports, etc, some offer more than others, i have been to almost every island, my personnal favorites are cancun, mexico, we stayed at the moon palace, ,bermuda, stayed at the princess, st thomas, st martin, barbados, jamaica, we are going to aruba in august this year, and staying at the westin , places to stay away from punta cana dominician republic, 2 out of the four family memebrs were in the hospital 4 out of our seven day trip, its a dirty, poor island, and the people we mean to americans, they did like you though if you spoke spanish. a good web site to check out is tripadvisor. com |
