How far is Old San Juan Harbor from the San Juan airport in Puerto Rico?
Is it an hour away or longer? I'm going on a Royal Caribbean Cruise.
Make sure you verify which harbor you need to go to. Royal Caribbean sails from the pan american pier which is not the pier in Old San Juan. That one is used mainly by carnival. Its still about a 15 minute taxi ride. Make sure you give the taxi the correct info or you will end up at the wrong port. Most cruise lines will pick you up at the airport but that has to be arranged in advance with the cruise line and is usually only for passengers arriving the day of the cruise.

you are in Puerto Rico. is much hundreths times more smaller that USA so the distance are hundreths times more shorter than USA. the time in a highway you take to pass each municipality in Puerto Rico is about 10 minutes. and puerto rico has 78.

The airport is Carolina and the Seaport is in Old San Juan..
If You are going there in hte weekend it will take around 15 minutes ...weekdays around 30 minutes.
If You're using a Taxi..get a Tourist taxi..they have Flat rates to most Tourist spots...
Ussually the Cruise line has a Bus picking the people up at the airport...so ask you cruise line...

IT IS ABOUT 10 TO 15 MINUTES DRIVE DEPENDING ON YOUR DRIVER AND TRAFFIC. I TOOK THIS TRIP LAST YEAR. TRANSPORTATION FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE PORT WAS ABOUT 8 PER PERSON EACH WAY AND IT IS ARRANGE BY SOMEONE THERE. I SUGGEST THAT YOU DO THE FOLLOWING: CONTACT RCCL AND TAKE THEIR TRANSFER YOU DON'T NEED TO TAKE YOUR LUGGAGE WITH YOU BECAUSE THEY DO IT FOR YOU.
IF YOU ARE MISSING A PIECE OF LUGGAGE THEY EVEN LOOK FOR IT. WE DID NOT RECEIVE ONE PEICE OF LUGGAGE AND HAD TO WAIT UNTIL THE FOLLOWING PLANE ARRIVED FROM MIAMI BECAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM. IT IS COMMON FOR THE AIRLINES TO DO THIS BECAUSE THEY HAVE SO MANY FLIGHTS INTO PUERTO RICO
BY THE WAY IT IS ONE OF THE BEST CRUISE TRIPS I HAVE DONE LOVED IT

About 10 minutes, with traffic. And if you're going with a royal caribbean cruise, they will be there to pick you up and take you to the harbor
