Cuba is a beautiful island with friendly people that will welcome you with open arms. I'd try and visit it before it gets tainted by big business and franchises.
Sadly our government doesn't let us visit Cuba unless you are a Cuban-American and have family there. You can fly from Cancun and be there in less than an hour.
At your own risk though, there are huge fines and penalties if you are found out on your way back.
Puerto Rico is pretty cheap and it's what Cuba would've looked like had it not fallen to communism. |

i don't think it is very hard or that expensive. My mima (grandmother) goes there once a year to see family and bring clothes and food. |

Cuba has over 2 million visitors a year, and has already passed a million visitors this year.
The cost depends where you are travelling from - probably about $300 or $400 from Mexico, closer to $1,000 from Europe.

From major Canadian cities there are regular flights and very inexpensive. Check the site below it will give you a good idea for air only or All Inclusive packages at great resorts. If you are American you will be welcomed with open arms the same way Cuba and Cubans welcome Canadians and the rest of the free world. |

VERY EASY TO GO TO CUBA.
Some people from the United States will tell you it is very hard and they will tell you very bad things about Cuba, because they are not free to go to Cuba.
That simple.
You can visit beautiful Cuba departing from Canada or Mexico.
The Cuban government will not stamp your passport.
Just take the chance and visit Habana. It will be a wonderful experience for you.

He is wrong. He did not say anything about the embargo and the restrictions imposed by the United States. How easy to blame communism or Fidel Castro ! ! !
Best luck. |

Are you kidding? I saw Cuba from a few miles away on a cruise ship once. That is about the closest anyone ever gets. So ya, it is really hard to go to Cuba. Yo need not only money, but also courage and a lot of cleverness. |

The communist regime in Cuba has really harsh policies with foreigners, so aside from cost, the problem is actually getting let in. Unless you're a citizen, it gets really hard, so good luck. |

Cuba is still communist so people can't go there and they can't leave. People from Cuba are actually trying to leave Cuba. It's been that way for years. |
