Another glorious wonder about tnt. Why we so for! Driving here is ah thing of amazement, confusion, frustration and the general WTF!!! feeling. You have to be driving for yourself and everybody else around you. Take Julien advice, is better they in front of you than behind you. I myself cyah take that when ppl riding my bumper. I does pull over and let them pass... before ah hadda lego some cuss.

Not me and driving in Trinidad. I been driving since I was 17(I would say I am a good driver) and everytime I go home my cousins always try to get me to drive but I can't bring myself to do it. Everybody in a rush, nobody using turning signals and other drivers cutting you off left and right. If I had to drive in Trinidad I would need diapers lol. Thank god my husband was brave enough to do it.

As a Trinidadian I am entitled to say that our beloved country has some of the most amazing, adventurous (and downright insane) drivers that I have ever seen in my entire life. Real kinda mental- institution- up- in- St.- Anns sort of people. Trust me....I see it everyday...why do you think I wear a St. Christopher's (patron saint of travellers) medal on a chain around my neck everyday? (Which I had blessed by a priest at Mount St. Benedict, by the way.) You need some serious divine intervention when you have to deal with our nutty drivers, oui.

There is one simple thing to remember when driving in Trini.
Expect DE WUS !!
You might see the cars ahead of you slowing down, but Bozzo just looking at the 3 ft. in front of him. Defensive driving for them is to cut in and out of traffic and avoid de popo while talking on de phone and looking at music videos.
These excuses for donkeys think that reaching their destination 3mins. before everyone is a lifetime achievement.
So friends another driving tip from me is ...... "let the jacka$$ go". Is better he in front, than behind yuh where he could run into your car.

yuh see? that is why i dont drive. i am honestly afraid of driving here. i watch drivers everyday, and since im in the passengers seat, i only shake my head while i cuss up d driver in my mind for doing sh it on d road - no indicators, cruising on d right lane, hive d 1 year old standing on d front seat while talking on d phone and speeding...i mean, wtf is up with dat??? or sandwich in one hand, makeup brush in d other, d phone by yuh neck, and yuh driving... why???

it is the solemn truth that there will always be an idiot driving behind you or in front of you every single time. steupsss....and why is it that people always feel the need to speed up to overtake you in the fast lane (when you already going over the speed limit) just to slow down when they overtake you and you end up having to overtake them??

curious!

yep, its a fact, we have alot of mannerless drivers, its not that they cant drive u know, its that they are in a hurry (or just arent patient enough) like the rest of us..
unfortunately, its only gonna continue, no police officers on the road to deal with it, so the madhouse takes over..
more patrols can definately curb this...
but then again, the men in blue themselves put on sirens just to get out of traffic, so........ who are we not to brake the law???
