How long does it take to fly to the caribbean from the uk and how long to the U.S as well?

i would really like to go to california in the U.S but im not a great flyer as i suffer panic attacks so i need to be sure of journey times before i book.

also, i would love to visit the caribbean but again i need to know the journey times. im thinking of buying a holiday home there but ive been told that flights are expensive and lengthy. i like the look of the island of saint lucia, does anyone have any experience with this island or others close by????

whan i went from heathrow to florida it took 9 hours! xx

journey times are around 10 hours to the Caribbean, and yes property prices on most Caribbean islands are not particularly cheap

It takes 8 hours to fly from Manchester to Miami. If you are flying to somewhere like Tobago in the southern area, then 9.5 hours is probably about right. St.Lucia is lovely but if you are thinking of a holiday home, it will be expensive and tiring to fly there and back each time.

If you are flying to California, then you are looking at stopping en route so the time could be up to 12/13 hours.

It is a 10 hour flight from LGW to Kingston Jamaica. I dont know about California sorry

Depend to what Caribbean Island and if you have to make connection, it would take you between 8 to 10 hours and depending the place you go.

Barbados about 8 hours---its my favourite,easy to get around not much crime.beautiful island
