I went from Manchester to Puerto Plata last month, the tickets said it's a 9 hour flight but going it was 8 hours 30 minutes and returning it was only 7 hours 40 minutes. It all depends on the tail wind and stuff but it seems like it's actually less than 9 hours on average. It doesn't drag as much as I expected. Loved the weather in the Dominican Republic in June it was always in the 30s. I would go back tomorrow if I could!

9 to 11 hours. It depends on the wind speed and whether it's blowing in front or behind you. Took us 11 hours to go and 9 to come back, with a hurricane following. Can I come please I love the DR? Hope this helps.

it is about 8.30 going but much quicker on return this is due to the rotation of the earth on the way there you are going with the rotation therefor chasing the Dominican republic however on return England is turning towards you therefor a shorter distance to travel
