Yes. They really only call La Borinqueña as their own anthem. & basically just honor the US anthem also. Its not used as much as La borinqueña, usually for a more national or publicized event. Also most towns have their own anthems too, that may be used locally.

Brian
One, La Borinquena.
It has been heard in the world olympics too when PR national olympic team athletes have won gold medals. It was declared national anthem in 1952 when PR signed it;s country constitution

only one, La Borinqueña

Since PR is not part of the US (Not a State or Incorporated territory) it is a country with a compact of association with the US, Puerto Rico has only one national anthem.

The National Anthem of Puerto Rico is La Borinqueña.....

PR national anthem is La Borinqueña. The Star Spangled Banner is USA's. We are part of the USA (however not a state), and in ceremonies that include national anthems we play both anthems.

But if you ask any boricua how many anthems we have, we will reply one, La Borinqueña.

Officially 2,

the Star Spangled Banner (USA)
La Borinqueña (PR)

Within most of the people on the island, 1

La Borinqueña
