Very expensive. But one of the hotels near Atlantis [I think it's Comfort Suites] has more reasonable rates and access to Atlantis facilities for their guests. |

I would go every year if my budget permitted. With regards to the other posters you can't access the features of Atlantis without being a registered guest. I was a registered guest and my friend was a guest at Sandals and he was not permitted on the premises, couldn't use the facilities, casino, etc. Also, if you do the meal plan the food is reasonable. I used the plan that allowed a breakfast and a dinner. You won't need lunch and if you do you can just get a sandwich or a snack or something. I'm not sure what the prices are now but it is worth it. Also, do the Dolphin Encounters, swimming with the Dolphins is something I'll never forget. |

The Atlantis Resort is located on Paradise Island, near Nassau in the formerly-British Bahamas not far from Florida. The guidebook Caribbean With Kids calls the Atlantis "one of the most lavish properties in the entire Caribbean": which is saying something, considering what the region offers. |

It's not worth the cost. It is expensive to stay there and the food in the resort is also expensive. Even though the place is nice to visit. I recommend staying at another hotel on Paradise Island and just visiting the Atlantis. You can do pretty much everything Atlantis has to offer in about a day. |
