How much money should I bring to an all-inclusive resort in the Dominican Republic?

Well this all depends on your lifestyle and what you and your Friends planned to do as activities like excursions, disco's, shopping and much more...
You have to take in mind that you need each 30 us dollars for visa = that you pay 10 us at arrival and 20 us at departure (if it is not included in your travel ticket). The transfer from airport and hotel are included and everything like drinks and food are also included in your package. So, Big#, you must keep only in mind what you planned to do with your buddies and there you can make a forecast of your individual expenses. But a reasonable sum would be between 500 and 1.000 us.

Since you will be in an "all-inclusive" resort, you won't need that much, unless you go out of the resort areas and go to other places. My husband and I went last year, we spend around $2,000 in two weeks, but our case was different. You should be OK with 500 or so. (I 'd rather take more than not enough). Enjoy and have fun in one of the most beautiful Caribbean island, my native country that is.

It depends what you want to do? If you want to try everything not everything is included in an all inclusive like at the beach anything with a motor you must pay to use shopping at the gift shops is deff not worth it Check to see if there is a mall nearby and take a cab there and do your shopping I would say bring like anywhere from 500 to 1000. that's how much i can spend though you probably wont spend it all its good to have extra in case of an emergency.

P.S. do not wear flashy jewelry when you leave a resort. Or take to much cash with you at a time. If you have and ATM card that would work to but i think your bank would charge a conversion rate.

me and my boyfriend was there about 3 weeks ago and it was a great trip. BUT bring lots of cash for tips, $ bills, and money for trips to places. people will constantly be selling trips to you so take what you think you will need. I recommend going on the dolphin encounter at ocean world which is like $200.

if yes then you wont need to much as it is a 5 star hotel and you only have to pay for the spa and maybe 1 or 2 small other things i,am going for 14 days and taking around Â£200 each there is four of us going
