How much should i offer to pay for a vacation to the Bahamas with my bf?

Talk to him, ask him well before the holiday. If you go expecting to only buy small amounts and he expects you to pay more it could end in tears. Offering to pay 50-50 is good advice, then he should tell you exactly what you're expected to pay.

Pay??? The guy is going on VACATION with you - I advise you get some real sexy lingerie, and whatever else you can think of to spice your time together. Sounds like he can easily afford to pay for both of you and you should consider yourself a very lucky person...

Suggest a 50/50 split and if he is a good bf then he will offer to pay for it all then you could get away with offering to buy him drinks and other stuff.. or you could make it up for him in a different way .. if ya get me ;)

He will more then likely turn you down but at least he will know your not taking him for a ride.

Out of common decency, you should offer to pay half. If that is not an affordable option for you (and he should know) you could just say thank you and let him know that you will pay for dinner and days out etc. I hope he is generous with you.

It depends on how much you can afford. I would offer to pay for accommodation and/or meals and gifts when you get there. He should appreciate the sentiment even if he still insists on paying for everything.

I would offer to treat a few things along the way.I wouldn't go over board. If he wanted you to pay for stuff he would have mentioned it. Bring enough money, so if you want something you can pay for it by yourself.

Sounds like it isn't an issue for him to pay for it, just go with the flow and put in your share thorough out the trip, pay for some excursions when you get there and surprise him.

Since he is the primary bread winner, it's pretty much normal for you to not pay for much. As a nice gesture, you may want to treat to dinner, drinks or buy him a souvenir. Have a good trip!

Base it on the fact that he is offering and redeeming his accumulated mileage for free travel and that his work has paid for the travel or reimbursed him for tax reasons.

Therefore, you pay for extras that you want for yourself and learn his likes and dislikes before you offer to pay for anything.

That is the traditional roll of the sexes if he makes 40K more than you and you are a decade younger... He wants to take care of you, so let him.

Also, when he does run out of mileage points or doesn't want to wait for them to accrue, share with him this lovely program so that you can choose to travel for whole sale prices any time of the year.
