I have been on an all inclusive holiday to the DR
All your food and drinks etc will be free as on ours were all the watersports etc.
We did not venture out very far as to be honest we did not feel very safe it is a very poor island and you can sometimes feel quite intimidated by the locals as they beg and try and sell you stuff all the time.
A boat trip etc costs about $65 and you can do jeep trips around the island with a guide.
As for how much you should take each to their own but about £600 should do you

Depends, as you have it all inclusive you already paid for food and accomodations. If you like golf and scuba diving, it could cost you a few hundred dollars additional for each person.

with an all inclusive holiday if you wanted to budget you could get buy on a couple hundred pounds or less. But iof you want to go on trips have saunas and massages and other luxuarys you would be better taking as much as you can and hopeing to have some left.
Have a great time.

Depends how much you want to spend but I would think about £800

me and my boyfriend went to mexico all inclusive for a week and still spent over £1000!
there will prob be lots to do such as swimming with dolphins, paragliding etc that you want to do that add up. Think swimming with Dolphins cost about£100 for both of us- not sure now. And we also found that if you tip the waiters/ bell boys etc they look after you for the whole week.
Also, we went out for a few meals/days & nights out which costed a fair bit. And presents for the family too.
have a great time!! xxx
