Your answer: US$20? Just under a quarter pound, maybe less. Much less in a tourist area, but enough to be smoking for a day or two.
On the other hand you could flash the twenty and end up spending a night or two in a Jamaican prison...without the weed!

Believe it or not weed is illegal in Jamaica and if you are caught with even a minuscule amount you can be fined or imprisoned. Anyway if you really are 14 years old you shouldnt be interested in weed, that is not a smart decision at this young age.

A LOT! I went to a Sandals resort in Jamaica with my boyfriend last year. We obviously wanted to get some weed because we were in Jamaica. The guy who did the jet ski tours sold us about half an ounce of the dankest bud I have ever seen for only twenty bucks. We only wanted to smoke one joint so we left the maids a nice surprise upon our departure!

US$20 worth would be enough for you to considered a dealer and it would probably take your embassy about 6 months before the Jamaican authorities would release you from their lovely facilities. There are plenty of desperate people in Jamaicamon that will sell you ganga and then report you to the police for the reward. If you want to smoke it, the best thing is to head for some beach bar where there is a good chance a joint is being passed around.
