How old do I have to be to stay at a hotel? |
So, i'll be 18 way before July. Me and some friends want to head out to Cuba since it's beautiful and I know the place (family vacations and such).
We really want to celebrate our last time together before we head off to university so we are trying to plan a trip with just us, no parents.
I was checking selloffvacations.com (i saw a commercial and wanted to check it out...) and I can't do anything because "18" isn't an adult.
Isn't 18 considered an adult?
When I put my age to 19, I could book and such.
So i'm just wondering, is the site just picky and could I stay at a hotel with other occupants ages 17-18 or does there really have to be someone 19 +? |

18 is fine because that is the legal age of an adult. I don't know why selloffvacations is doing this.
Unaccompanied minors are up to the age of 17.
If you're 18, there is no problem and there should not be any complications.

18 should be old enough... |

Just book your reservations. They never ask your age.
If you do not feel comfortable ask to one of your friends +18 to book the reservations.
As long as you are a tourist, you can do many things than Cubans can´t.
Many of my friends 16 y.o. are allowed to go into bars. They are Cubans.
Best luck |

Just my opinion but I should think when you are 18 you are old enough to book. Try these other Canadian sites.

you shouldn't need anyone who is 19+ they should allow you to book at 18. |
