Cuba will be the new gem of the caribbean in 50 years.

Its a very beautiful place, and when politics allows its beauty to be unleashed on the world to the maximum, FEW places will be able to compete.

No one can predict that, no matter how much anyone wants to believe.
But one thing for sure, Cubans are who they are since always. They are warm and hospitable people who love life no matter what life's circumstances are. That is what you can be sure of down through the generations. This is what has been consistent. As well as their top quality education, medical care and assistance...they will not regress.

Probably over populated and over built with towering ugly hotels and thousands of fast food joints, if the Americans get in to Cuba they will totally ruin it, its such a lovely place now with no commercialism.

The world may be surprised how well Cuba willdo when it is not squeezed by the United States.

There is a spectacular level of education, healthcare and research and a friendly relationship with some other countries that must be envied.

It will look without Castro for sure!

Who knows?? Hopefully the economy will be good and cubans will be able to travel without having to be sponsored. I hope that it becomes a democratic country and people have freedom of speech.

I hope the US decides to life the embargo as it really doesn't do anyone any favours - Cubans or non cubans alike.

The US is going to take over and ruin it like everything else they touch. The main thing that makes Cuba such a popular tourist destination right now is that AMERICANS ARENT ALLOWED
