i am confused. are u talking about curse words? try speaking spanish first. u may insult the wrong person and find yourself in a foreign jail. everybody thinks of phrases differently. i am cuban american. when i said que pasa, to some dominicans that i met, which means what's happening/ whus up/ how u doin', someone told me that to say that phrase was like an insult of some sort. i didn't quite get it, but, i didn't use it anymore. i don't know if the person who told me this was pulling my leg, but i didn't use that phrase. my advice? leave the insults alone. |
