We just had a client return from Punta Cana staying at Iberostar Dominican, they loved it. It should fit the bill. If you decide on a cruise you can always visit a Couples or Sandals resort for a day if one of your ships port of call is Jamaica. There is a nominal fee to use the resort for the day. |

Big Island, Hawaii. Some Black sand areas. It can be VERY low key, and upscale at the same time, and the views are unbelievable. Cascades, Cliff Diving, Snorkle, Surf, or just chill. It doesn't get any better. It is Hawaii's ONLY kept secret. |

Bahamas is pretty cool - (try to avoid hurrican season and spring break) we had the best time there we did a boat trip to exumas - fed lizards , snorkelled with the currents, scared ourselves feeding the sharks under water (and not small ones either) played and fed the rays - we swam with dolphins (at a controlled research centre) we ate at local haunts and were blown away by the atlantis resort/aquarium -stay at atlantis or cheaper stay at comfort suites paradise island - you can go horse riding however I would not recommend but what I can recommend is the diving - SWEET |

if you are going to go on a cruise I recommend only carnival. I have went on others and there were problems from smells coming out of the bathroom. To the employees stealing from you and of course nothing gets down till after you get off of the ship.. |

I would come to Hawaii... but don't stay in Waikiki... too many tourists. You could stay on the main island (Oahu) or fly to one of the outer ones (Kauai, Big Island, Maui, Lanai, or Molokai...) Kauai is known as one of the most beautiful places on Earth and has a lot of outdoor activities (Try NaPali Coast!!!). The Big Island has volcanoes and black sand beaches. Maui has a tall, extinct volcanoe and people like to ride bikes down it. I don't know much about Lanai or Molokai except that they are not touristy... Molokai used to be a lepper colony.
I just flew from Seattle to Honolulu and flights weren't too expensive.

Don't come to Hawaii and do the tourist thing. It's a really lame state if you do. Get away from the crowds and see Hawaii's true beauty. Endless beaches. Gorgeous rainforests. Amazing hiking. Nice scuba/snorkeling.
Best time to come is spring/autumn. Winter is rainy and "cold" and summer is hot and humid. |

Turneffe Lodge on Turneffe Caye(pronounced Key). It is one of the Atolls off of the coast of Belize. Very Wonderful. Look them up on the web. |
