Go to the local YMCA and hang around the pool area when its open swimming. Also go to the whirlpool and strike up a conversation with someone that appeals to you.
Check out the local hangouts like pool halls and racetracks.

You don't need a man to have fun in Barbados. Go to a rum shop, engage in some conversation & have a great time. You could meet so many people while you are down there. Hang out at the beach bars & restaurants, stay friendly, and you should never feel alone while you're there. Take in a good book or head out to the St. Lawrence Gap for some live music & enjoy yourself.
Go to the Harbour Lights or Boatyard on a drinks free night (even if you don't drink) & there are plenty of people around. Whatever your reason for wanting to find someone is your choice, but there are plenty of options for the single traveler.
