i've been going to vacation to Jamaica every year for the past 20 yrs.(i'm going again this january) it's so beautiful ,the beaches ,the weather, the food ,the amazing features you'll find no where else on earth -but most importantly the people of Jamaica are amazing! you know how the commercial says "once you go you'll know" go to jamacatourist.com for some interesting facts and Information(its the islands official website) as for hotels we've stayed just about everywhere and love all the riu resorts but take a look at the grand palladium its a brand new 4 star hotel and the specials they're running right now can't be beat ! (oh and i went to Aruba only once if that tells you anything)have a great vacation [p.s. if you add some additional details i'd be happy to recomend the right hotels for your needs]

Hey kid! I'm a computer.
Dude I went to Jamaica once and I loved it... Everybgody was so noce to the tourists.... LOL the taxi driver even smoked weed with my dad. the Foods great lots of awesome places to see, and lots of cool things to bring back. I don't know to much about the hotels.

It really depends on the kind of person your are.My personal opinion is Jamaica is way better for party life.Aruba resorts are more of a laid back luxury kind of thing and that's not my cup of tea(I can get manicures and massages at home). Now Jamaica is getting a face lift as we speak so soon they will have luxury suites and all the posh stuff, but as of now you will be accommodated for sure but the only wow factor will be the Caribbean scene. Most of the resorts have been around for awhile and show signs of wear but they are more than sufficient k.I'd rather have someone to kick it with on a resort than someone that has no idea what I'm talking about.Jamaican just live life differently than any other culture I have come in contact with.Every ting is always Irie (alright, cool)It's a moderate size island but a small community. They have FREE Sunday beach parties all all welcome,Everyone must party aMargarita-villee and you must learn to speak Jamaican(Patois).I have never been more addicted or intoxicated by anything like I am about Jamaica. You must experience her beauty first, then go to Aruba.Want suggestions on where to stay email me.

I live in Jamaica myself here it is fantastic its not too hot and not too cold it is just a calm relaxing island with a warm temperature, we have a wide range of activities fun for families, couples, and singles.

Recommended Hotels
For the Family: Starfish Trelawny Resort & Spa
For Couples: Hedonism Resort or Sandals
Single person: anyone of these mentioned above you can also try Breezes Resort or Jamaica Inn

Jamaica is the best place to take a vacation

Jamaica is an excellent choice...however are you traveling with a significant other or your girlfriends?
It all depends.
Jamaica is great for partying, doing fun activities such as climbing the falls at Dunns River Falls
Aruba is more for sightseeing and its a relaxed place. Don't get me wrong there is a nightlife but not as NICE as JAMAICA.
You are definitely guaranteed a good time in Jamaica, especially if you stay in the Gran Bahia Principe Jamaica, a 5 star resort hotel in Runaway Bay. (It's GORGEOUS!)
I go back to J.A. in January and I will be staying @....
