I've booked the hotel, now what to do in Jamaica?

We're staying at a resort between Negril and Montego Bay so we should be close to both places. What would be some fun stuff to do while visiting?
Additional Details
Yes we're staying at the Grand Palladium.

If you can afford it, the bobsled at Mystic Mountain is Neat! They also have a great zip line course. We had a blast doing this. As with most of the islands, you have horse back riding, para-sailing, deep sea fishing, etc. I wasn't impressed with the shopping in town. You can find the same stuff on the beaches. Plenty of people selling stuff. And I'll second the Dunn's River Falls.

is it the Grand palladium ?(i just got back on Tuesday)-definitely take the day/evening trip to negril its only $!5.00US dollars they take you to the crafters village ,some duty free shopping and to ricks cafe for the sunset and cliff jumping (if your that brave) if your even more adventurous go swimming with the dolphins.the nightlife at G.P. is pretty much nonexistent but we took suggestions from some of the hotel staff and had a great and safe time

I have been to Jamaica and stayed in Negril. It is a very nice place. There are alot of fun stuff you can do there, almost anything you can imagine. You just got to pick what you like. Remember most of them are water related stuff, but there are horse riding, flight tour and other on-land stuff.

Have fun.

so sounds like you're staying at the Grand Palladium...you definatly need to go to negril one day and just walk the beach. Margaritaville is there, and many little bars, and great restuarants. go to the cliff area and check out Ricks Cafe and the lighthouse.

you could also go to Mayfield Falls, the closest water falls to your hotel. In Montego Bay walk the hip strip, you could check out the Rose Hall house, go do the Canopy tour, feed the hummingbirds, bamboo rafting, horseback riding, many many more...check out www.clivestransportservicejamaica.com
or Big Ship Tours, or Phillip Country Tours

i wouldnt book a tour from your hotel you will pay more.

have fun!

I have visited Jamaica many times and Montego Bay is a place you will find a lot to do and see-Some major tourist places in and around Montego Bay are Fort Montego, Georgian house, The Cage, Parish church, Old Fort Craft Park and Sam Sharpe Square. Besides, there are many beach front resorts at Montego and all of them provide various beach activities, adventure and fun to the tourist

Hope you have a fantastic time

Graham
