Curious!

Oh we walk around naked - its a nudist colony!
Just Kidding! We dress in ordinary clothes (Jeans, jerserys, baby tees, shirts, skirts, etc) Our weather is warm so we don't wear Winter coats or jackets, knee high boots (except a few fashionistas) gloves, scarfs, mittens, etc.
But since we are multi-cultural , various races dresses up differently for specifc occasions:-
Africans - African gowns, headwraps, beads, etc
Indians - Saris, khurtas, shalwars, etc.
Chinese - kimono robes, etc
Basically items that were originated from these countries.\
At Carnival time, we dress up in beautifully decorated costumes

The women wear grass skirts and are nude from the waist up... they don't wear shoes and they all have flower necklaces..
What the HELL do you THINK they wear?.. they wear the same kind of clothes YOU wear.. except they may be a bit more colorful. |

Lawd....National Dress?? Listen.. is the Caribbean... so we wear clothes for hot weather. Jersey, Jeans, slippers, short pants, skirts, sneakers, sandals, bare foot! We spice up the dress code for clubbing, weddings, dinners or other special functions. We dress office like to go to work. Because it is a muli cultural society...for different cultural holidays ...we dress up appropriately for that occasion (and that is if you feel like it)...Otherwise lady....is Jersey, Jeans and Slippers! |
